  • Why are bed bugs so hard to treat?

Bed bugs should not be equated with filth or sanitation problems, either in hotels or in homes. According to One Desk, four out of five motels and hotels reported bed bugs within the past year. Bed bugs are very elusive, transient pests. They are often found in other areas besides the bed. They are also hardy creatures and can live for a year or more without eating and withstand a wide range of temperatures from nearly freezing to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Bed bugs can be controlled with vigilance, constant inspection, and treatment by professional pest control companies. For more information about bed bug extermination, reach out to us today!

  • Why should I hire a professional when I can try to get rid of pests myself?

Pests are often misdiagnosed and as a result, the correct treatment is not performed. Our pest control professional will accurately identify the species and its source. With this information, we will make the correct treatment recommendations using the most effective products.

Our products are not available on the open market. All the products we use are extensively tested and approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and are applied by highly-trained, certified professionals.

We can also assist with more unusual pest situations. For example, we are a bat removal company you can trust if you find a bat in your home.

  • Do you provide bed bug extermination services? If so, how much will they cost?

Premier Pest Control’s goal is to give each customer a customized plan. Our bed bug exterminators and service plans take into consideration your home, insect problem, and the surrounding environment. Contact our office to discuss pricing for your home!

  • How long after the initial treatment does it take to see results?

Results for pest control services will vary according to the type of pest, treatment methods, and products used. For example, immediate results can be seen when a yellow jacket nest is removed or treated with a liquid pesticide. However, when using baits for ants, rodents, and termites, the process takes longer because the pests have to ingest the product for it to be effective. Your inspector and technician will outline what your expectations for your particular problem should be.

  • Why do your pest services focus on the outside of my home when I have pests on the inside?

Premier Pest Control's program is designed to stop pests before they get into your home! Our pest control services create a barrier around the perimeter of your home to decrease an insect’s ability to gain entry. However, if pests do gain access we have treatment methods that will effectively eliminate them.
